Ex-Stonewall Museum President: I Left my Post Because of Sexual Harassment

Bryan Knicely, the former president of the Stonewall National Museum & Archives, told South Florida Gay News that he left his post because of repeated sexual harassment and a constant disrespect for the precious items housed at the museum.

“It should have been my ideal job ever just because it’s my skill set together with an organization that I believed it,” Knicely said. “The public here should know that they’re not taking care of our assets properly or presenting the organization in a way that really helps build upon its cultural ability to become the number one LGBT organization that archives history and artifacts.”
